Day 0: Ready to go

First post. No idea if i’ll manage to make a go of this, or if it’ll be any more than saving me writing a few emails home, but here goes!
I’ve spent the last few weeks looking at other travel blogs, a lot of them seem to start with photos of everything that the individual has packed laid out on the floor beside thier bag. I decided I should do likewise…
My life, or at leasts the bits im taking with me, packed into a 12.6kg backpack. Great!
I’m packed and ready to go, about to go get some sleep before leaving at 5am to head to Edinburgh. 7am Flight to London Heathrow and then a 2pm Flight to New York. Good night!
